ROLES OF THE WEBSITE DESIGNER
You may be thinking: 'Yes, that sounds like me, but what exactly do web designers do all day?’. More than making great imagery, form and colour, web designers strategically create and build fully-functional websites meant to attract internet users. While often working within a collaborative team, some roles and responsibilities of the designer include:
- Designing and conceptualizing website and mobile page layouts
- Designing navigational elements
- Responsive Design
- Creating Wireframes
- User Experience and research Imagery branding and sizing
- Logo creation
- Understanding technical elements and HTML coding
- Quality Assurance and Testing
Our digital world is evolving rapidly and companies are no longer looking for DIY, unprofessional websites. Why Not? Read About That Here. It is more important than ever to not only understand how to properly design a website with a solid foundation, but to understand the intention around it: user intent and experience, search engine optimization boosting elements, site speed, etc.
At StyleLabs, we have a team of talented designers who do just that and more. All of them have varying degrees of certifications, qualifications, and experience, and have graduated from some of the most prestigious web design courses in Calgary.
